Are your garden tools blunt and rusty?

The Garden Tool Maintenance Blokes can make it good again

We will sharpen hand tools, spades, shovels, hoes, hedge clippers, axes etc.

We will adjust and tighten handles and replace these if a new one is supplied by the owner.

We will generally de-rust, oil and generally rejuvenate your garden tools.

Tools may be left at the Men's Shed, Monday to Friday between 10am and 12 noon, all year round.

There's no standard fee for the repair and maintenance but a donation would be greatly appreciated.

As a general rule the Henley Mens Shed DOES NOT undertake to repair or sharpen items of the type listed below, as that would put us in competition with local businesses who currently provide that service.

  • Lawn mowers of any sort (including blade sharpening)
  • Chain saws or hand saws
  • Electric hedge clippers
  • Power tools and appliances
  • Knives or scissors
