Stories of Life Growing up

Yet another diversity in the range of activities available at the Mens Shed is this group, inspired by the desire to recall and capture "Life growing up", so that the stories will live on for generations to follow in the family.

Stories of days gone by are recalled, written down and shared by blokes who wish to join in, they get together at the Shed on the 2nd Monday of every month around 9-30am, make a cuppa and get on with reading their tales.

It is the act of actually writing down and handing over to their children and grandchildren that inspires the tales that could otherwise be lost, to be written shared and reflected upon in the group that keeps blokes coming back for more.

If you are interested in sitting in, or sharing the fun and mischief that were part of your life's journey just turn up at the Shed and all will be revealed.

For more information on the group contact Brian on 06 377 1068, or Kevin on 06 377 1236.

The group posts samples of some more recent tales for your interest and amusement here;
